Lawn Care Tips: For a Beautiful and Less Toxic Lawn

Please join the Cornell Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners to learn about the few simple changes you can make to your lawn care routine so your grass looks great and is less harmful to people, pets, and the environment.

This class will teach you how to choose the right seed mix, improve your growing and soil conditions, and how to mow properly to reduce water and fertilizer use. We will also explore common lawn weeds, pests, and diseases and how to safely manage them with lawn care practices that minimize pesticide use.

Join us to learn ways you can grow a healthier, more environmentally friendly lawn.

All materials will be provided. Classes are open to veterans, service members, and military connected families. Gardeners of all experience levels and ages are welcome to join.

Please note: All children must be accompanied for the entirety of the class by a participating adult that can assist the child if needed.
