Gardening 101: Keeping Houseplants Alive and Thriving

6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

1223 Salt Springs Road

Chittenango, NY 13037

Come spend the evening with Master Gardeners from Onondaga County discussing a variety of gardening topics. The last in our 2023 gardening series will be focused on houseplants. We will reconvene gardening classes in February/March of 2024.

Growing houseplants is a great way to garden indoors all year round. If you have never had any houseplants or your houseplants die or struggle, this class is for you! The class will cover what indoor plants need (or don’t need) to thrive and look their best. You will learn how to select the right plants for your home and properly care for them. We will also explore some common houseplant pests and how to safely and effectively debug infested plants. This may be a fun, new hobby for you or give you the tips you need to have beautiful houseplants.

Open to veterans, service members, and military connected families. All class materials are included.

Please note: All children must be accompanied for the entirety of the class by a participating adult.
