Dr. Edward Tick and Kate Dahlstedt of Soldier’s Heart address the emotional, moral, and spiritual wounds of veterans. Dr. Tick is an expert in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and other combat related conditions. He has lectured and trained staff at West Point, Walter Reed Medical Center, Fort Hood, Fort Knox, Altus Air Force Base, and other Department of Defense facilities. Dr. Tick is a 2012 U.S. Army trainer for Chaplain Sustainment Training in PTSD and the author of the acclaimed book, War and the Soul.

Dr. Ed Tick’s visit to Clear Path offered veterans and the community insight into ways we as a community can support and better understand the needs of those serving our country. Due to an overwhelmingly positive response and the hopes of more corporate sponsorship, Clear Path plans on offering more retreats, guided by Dr. Tick (Soldier’s Heart). Visitors from New Hampshire and Vermont traveled to Clear Path and found a safe place they now call family and home. If you or someone you know would be interested in participating in future seminars and retreats, please contact us at to reserve a spot.
